Shaun of the Dead

Shaun of the Dead:

I have always been a huge fan of the British humor, from Monty Python to Peter Sellers all the way to Wallace and Gromit. This film is fantastic, the jokes are a little dry, and often times are puns and continue from scene to scene as running jokes. If you do not like this sort of thing, then I would only recommend you see this for the camera work and the directing. In any event I say see this movie as soon as possible. Tonight, perhaps.

You know from the trailers that this is a “horror love story” about zombies. Shaun spends his life in the closest pub to his house, being the oldest person (29) selling electronic items in a local shop and defending his best friend Ed to everyone. Everyday is the same, and his girlfriend Liz has had enough. She breaks up with him the night before the zombies arrive in force. He and Ed adventure forth the save Shaun’s mum and Liz. Liz will of course be so happy that she was saved that she will take Shaun back. At least that is the plan.

Everything about this movie is incredible, the script, the acting, directing, editing, and the fact that it was made for around 4Mil.

You do not have to be a fan of horror films to like this one. Go see it, go now.
